Just about 5 days ago, we (and by we I mean Drake University's School of Education students) got an e-mail regarding our placements for student teaching in the Spring 2014 semester. Let's just say, I have witnesses that can testify that I jumped up and down out of excitement!
First Placement: (January 6th - February 21st) - ESL Teacher at Holy Family Catholic School
Second Placement: (February 24th - April 11th) - KINDERGARTEN (My dream!) at Howe Elementary
Third Placement: (April 14th - May 30th) - ECSE (Early Childhood Special Education) at Madrid Head Start
Needless to say, I'm absolutely THRILLED! I'm hoping to blog throughout the process, to share some triumphs and struggles, as well as some fun stories!
